Center. Here, Henry Flagler saw the potential for the Keys and opened the islands of the Florida Keys to the world. What was
once called Flagler’s Folly has become Flagler’s Legend. Please come inside and see where history, marine science,
architecture and education come together on one small 5-acre island! Pigeon Key is located 2.2 miles due west of Marathon in the Florida Keys. Located approximately 45 miles from Key
West and 100 miles southwest of Miami, the island connects to Marathon via the Old Seven Mile Bridge built by Henry Flagler
for his Florida East Coast Railway. Pigeon Key is operated by the Pigeon Key Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated
to preserving the history and environment of the Florida Keys through education and research.

Rescue,
Rehabilitation and Release. The Turtle Hospital is the only state-certified veterinary
hospital in the world for sea turtles. It relies on local volunteers to assist with feeding and caring
for the turtles. We offer Educational Programs Daily 10 AM, 1 PM and 4 PM. The Guided
Educational Experiences run approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and consist of an educational presentation, a behind the scenes
look at the hospital, and a visit to the turtle rehabilitation area.

At 65 feet in length, this high-speed catamaran is capable of transporting up to 130 passengers to the various nautical destinations
of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The itinerary includes a number of shallow reefs teeming with wildlife. Tours are 2 ½ hours long. The Spirit Of Pennekamp
departs three times daily, at 9:15, 12:15, and 3:00. Tickets are $24 for adults and $17 for children under 12. Minimum passenger
